DESCRIPTION: The Golly Auction is delighted to have been asked to auction another really special design. An early Prototype example of the Golfer. This is listed as Prototype 24 in the Golly Checklist, and although it is unstamped to reverse is guaranteed to be a genuine Robertsons Prototype as certified by the Golly Checklist team. The seller of this item originally purchased it direct from the renowned collector Jerry Loader back in the early 1990's and it has been collection-locked ever since. The provenance of this has been confirmed by the Golly Checklist team. Having seen another known genuine and verified example sell for £1,920 in Oct-24 they decided it is time for it to be appreciated by another collector. It is bubble coated and has a yellow waistcoat. Similar to the Propat designs of the later white waistcoat era however this design is far far rarer.
BACKSTAMP: No backstamp as expected.
CONDITION: Presented in perfect condition. This badge is a straight 10. Doesn't get any better than this. Protective bubble coating still intact. Complete with original straight pin. Metal is immaculate, no flaws whatsoever.. For further information on grading please
