DESCRIPTION: Jolly Golly Golfer for sale in perfectly collectable condition. This delightful design was the first enamel Golly badge ever issued by Robertsons. Manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons from 1928. The Jolly Golly Golder originally had a line in the mouth to distinguish the lips, as this small area was hard to enamel it was dropped when further badge orders were placed. This version DOES have the line between the lips and pockets on the waistcoat. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.

CONDITION: Presented for sale in perfectly collectable condition. As seen on the photos there are various surface scratches to the enamel and stress marks on golly's right knee. No enamel loss or chips. This presents a great opportunity to pick up a very desirable badge at a discounted price. Protective varnish coating still intact. Complete with original straight pin.
