DESCRIPTION: Jolly Golly Golfer for sale in very good condition. This delightful badge design was the first enamel Golly badge ever issued by Robertsons. Manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons from 1928. The Jolly Golly Golder originally had a line in the mouth to distinguish the lips, as this small area was hard to enamel it was dropped when further badge orders were placed. This version has no line between the lips. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA i lightly defined stamp. Bleieved to show the '729136' reg number but only '7291' is visible. Note this stamp shows RGD as opposed to REGd.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in very good condition. No stress marks or cracks visible, origianl protective varnish coating still intact. The only thing that detracts is a surface scratch to the head, above the eye. Complete with original straight pin. For further information on grading please
