DESCRIPTION: Jolly Golly Golfer for sale in good condition. This delightful badge design was the first enamel Golly badge ever issued by Robertsons. Manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons from 1928. The Jolly Golly Golder originally had a line in the mouth to distinguish the lips, as this small area was hard to enamel it was dropped when further badge orders were placed. This version DOES have the line between the lips and pockets on the waistcoat. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA ii. Showing the REGd markings.

CONDITION: Presented for sale in very good overall condition. Some trivial surface scratches to head and a significant area of enamel has fallen out on the right knee (as viewed). This presents a great opportunity to pick up a very desirable badge at a discounted price. Protective varnish coating still intact. Complete with original straight pin.
