DESCRIPTION: Jolly Golly Golfer for sale in excellent condition. This delightful badge design was the first enamel Golly badge ever issued by Robertsons. Manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons from 1928. The Jolly Golly Golder originally had a line in the mouth to distinguish the lips, as this small area was hard to enamel it was dropped when further badge orders were placed. This version has no line between the lips. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA i c learly defined stamp. Note this stamp shows RGD as opposed to REGd.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in excellent condition. Very light stress lines evident to lower right leg and a fleabite chip to top of heard. Protective varnish coating still intact. Complete with original straight pin. For further information on grading please
