DESCRIPTION: Prewar SURREY Cricketer offered in excellent condition. One of the set of 17 county cricketers representing all first class county cricket teams. These beautiful designs were manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons in 1938. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type III i  (REGD APPD). Clearly defined stamp. 

CONDITION: Presented for sale in first class condition. No stress marks of chips. Protective varnish coating still intact although evidence of it lifting can be seen in places as is common with these early badges. The metal is clean and bright on both sides with a very light patina to reverse. Complete with original straight pin on original card. Card has multiple holes and creases consistent with age but generally good condition. The card is item F83ci-2 in the Golly Guide.
