Keen collectors will know the significance of this design. Such is its rarity you can count on one hand, the number of times it has been available on the open market since it was issued over 40 years ago.

This is an extremely rare opportunity, not only is this one of the most scarce 1980's FOOTBALLER Silver Pendants ever produced, it also comes in the exact condition as issue by the jeweller - ARI Norman. Finding the silver pendants presented on original chain in original box is very difficult, but not only that, this example includes the original tissue paper used to protect the pendant inside the box. The seller of this particular example purchased it directly from Robertsons and it is now offered for sale on the open market for the first time in its 40+ year history.
The Robertsons Silver Pendants were issued for only a short time during the late 1970's/early 1980's. Considered by many collectors to be some of the most beautiful of the Golly items issued by Robertsons, the way the individual areas have been carefully textured to show through the transparent enamel is clearly the work of a master craftsman.
