DESCRIPTION: A White Waistcoat Standard badge made by RICHARD GOMM with a light blue jacket. Red bow tie. This is the more desirbale version stamped 'EMPIRE' in raised metal. This was because it was produced for Gomm in the Republic of Ireland by Jewellery Metal Co. and ther word 'EMPIRE' was stamped on it to avoid import taxes. Blue hands and red feet.
BACKSTAMP: RICHARD GOMM Type I iii.
CONDITION: Presented in good condition. No chips or scratches but the legs show multiple heavy stress marks. Complete with original straight steel pin and working clasp. A great chance to pick up a rare badge at a fraction of the price of a mint example.
