DESCRIPTION: A White Waistcoat Standard badge made by GOMM with a light blue jacket. Blue hands and red feet. This is one of the more dificult to find of the white waistcoat Standards as it has the 'EMPIRE' stamp which means it was produced by their factory in the Republic of Ireland. Also for sale on its original card which is also not easy to find.
BACKSTAMP: RICHARD GOMM EMPIRE in raised lettersd. Gomm Type I iii. A very clearly defined stamp.
CONDITION: Presented in superb condition. Free from any chips, cracks or stress marks to the enamel. Lovely bright enamel free from any stress marks. Slight rubbing to the forehead but hardly detracts. Mentioned for completeness. The metal to reverse is clean and bright. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp. A very fine example.
