DESCRIPTION: The 15
th SLC saw a return to the Old Prison. This was chosen as the venue for the launch of the seventh edition of the Golly Checklist. Two tin badges were made available, both showing a policeman as waiter – one in white, one in pink. The pink version had ‘LIFER’ and ‘ON PAROLE’ stamped in red. Limited to 25 such badges produced.

The Sunday Lunch Club is the name given to the official meeting of members of The Robertson’s Badge Club. This is an online club which started out as a Yahoo! Group: ‘GollyBC’ and has since moved over to Facebook. The first SLC took place at the end of 2001 to encourage Golly badge collectors to meet and swap badges or just chat in a relaxed setting. Official badges were produced for members each year and regular meetings were held up and down the country.
The badges produced by the group were not officially endorsed by Robertsons as the Golly had ceased to be used by Robertsons at this time. However, the full list of designs issued by the group are included in section W of the Golly Guide. The 'Robertons Badge Club' facebook group remains the only Robertsons Badge collecting group devoted exclusively to Robertsons Golly collecting and endorsed by the Golly Checklist team.
