DESCRIPTION: The third SLC was held at the Woodhouse Hotel, Princethorpe on 30-June-2002. Similar design to SLC2 but showing the waiter carrying a birthday cake instead of a covered tray. This was to celebrate the birthday of Liz Prigg, one of the founder members of the SLC and the owner of the
Golly Corner website. This Tin Button badge was produced as a momento to mark the event. Limited to only 40.
30 tin badges were produced in error with the incorrect date of 24

The Sunday Lunch Club is the name given to the official meeting of members of The Robertson’s Badge Club. This is an online club which started out as a Yahoo! Group: ‘GollyBC’ and has since moved over to Facebook. The first SLC took place at the end of 2001 to encourage Golly badge collectors to meet and swap badges or just chat in a relaxed setting. Official badges were produced for members each year and regular meetings were held up and down the country.
The badges produced by the group were not officially endorsed by Robertsons as the Golly had ceased to be used by Robertsons at this time. However, the full list of designs issued by the group are included in section W of the Golly Guide. The 'Robertons Badge Club' facebook group remains the only Robertsons Badge collecting group devoted exclusively to Robertsons Golly collecting and endorsed by the Golly Checklist team.
