DESCRIPTION: This badge is one of a small number of samples which were prepared for Robertsons by Bizz Badges prior to Golly's demise but never issued. This set is known as the international Children Design Prototypes as they show international children doing various sporting and leisure pursuits. This idea was eventually abandoned. Therefore the initial few samples are very desirable prototypes. For sale we have the PROTOTYPE BALLET DANCER. Produced in two sizes, this is the smaller 30mm design. It has no acrylic coating. Examples of these PROROTYPES rarely come onto the open market. Do not miss this opportuity to add this rarity to your collection.

In the Golly world, one person - above all others - stands out as being the leading figure in the research and cataloguing of the history and development of Robertsons and their famous mascot - Colin Dodds. Today's well informed collector owes much to his efforts with the Golly Checklist, which was started in 1991 and now in it's seventh edition. Check out the History page for a timeline of it's development. The Golly Auction team are delighted to have been chosen to auction a number of items from Colin's personal collection as he looks to downsize.
