DESCRIPTION: PROPAT STANDARD design from the white waistcoat era. Backstamped: 'PRO PAT 51454' in a box on reverse. Produced as an experimenal design by Miller during the 1960's in an attempt to keep costs down. As stated in the Golly Guide:
"...the whole design was printed on a flat piece of metallic foil, using red lettering on a yellow waistcoat and stuck to the brass base...". To read more about this badge see the Golly Guide reference pages.
CONDITION: Light surface scratches to acrylic coating visible. Metallic colours bright and clear. Lovely clean metal to reverse with lightly aged patina. Original pin with very slight angle to it. Three minor indents around Gollies left eye. See photos for full details.
