DESCRIPTION: This attractive prewar tennis player design with yellow v-neck was manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons in 1937. This particular example shows the earlier Miller Type 1Bii backstamp ('REGd') with the registration number 808488.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in excellent condition. Original varnish coating still entirely intact. No chips, scratches or stress marks at all. The rear shows light tarnish, easily removed if required. Complete with original straight pin.
A lovely example of this attractive design.
