DESCRIPTION: This attractive prewar tennis player design with yellow v-neck was manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons in 1937. This particular example shows the earlier Miller Type 1Bii backstamp ('REGd') with the registration number 808488.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in good condition. Original varnish coating still entirely intact. Light leg stress visible to both legs as seen in image. Head also shows a chip to top left side. Complete with original straight pin. Reverse shows a nice patina.
Good chance to grab an attractive badge at a good price.
