DESCRIPTION: This attractive prewar tennis player design with yellow v-neck was manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons in 1937. This particular example shows the earlier Miller Type 1Bii backstamp ('REGd APPd') which was used by Miller prior to the design being registered at the patent office (after registration a stamp of 'REGd' was used).
CONDITION: Presented for sale in excellent condition. Trivial sirface marks visible on head. Hardly detract, mentioned for compelteness. Complete with original straight pin.
