DESCRIPTION: This attractive prewar tennis player design with yellow v-neck was manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons in 1937. This particular example shows the earlier Miller Type 1Bii backstamp ('REGd') which was used by Miller once the design was registered at the patent office (prior to this a stamp of 'REGd APPd' was used).

CONDITION: Presented for sale in excellent condition. Very light stress evident on upper left leg and light surface scratch visible on head. Hardly detracts, mentioned for compelteness. Complete with original straight pin.

See photos for full details. Multiple high quality images shows the badge from different angles.
