Prewar Raspberry fruit design with small Golly head. Manufactured by H.W.Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse. This version of the raspberry design was produced from the first batch, as confirmed by the earliest 'Registered Applied' backstamp (later changed to 'Registered' whent he registration process was completed)

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA i (REGD APPD 768826). Lightly stamped. All characters present but faint in places.

CONDITION: Presented in wonderful condition. As seen in the images, the enamel is perfect... clear and bright, no sign of any chips, cracks or scratches whatsoever. The top most leaf has a very slight underfill of green enamel allowing some of the metal veins in the leaf to show through. The metal to reverse has oxidised more heavily in places shown as darker spots. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp.
