DESCRIPTION: Prewar Orange fruit design with small Golly head. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA iii (REGD 768691). Well defined stamp with all characters visible. Note the 'REGD 768691' are all on one line. Note for the specialist collector: Two versions of this backstamp are known, this one being the 'large' version. This information is not yet in the Golly Checklist.
CONDITION: Presented in excellent condition to front. No chips, scratches or stress marks whatsoever. Metal is to reverse shows light arnishing in places. Easy to clean off but left in untouched condition. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp.
