DESCRIPTION: Prewar Lemon fruit design with small Golly head. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA iii (REGd). Note the 'REGD 768645' are all on one line. Note for the specialist collector: Two versions of this backstamp are known, this one being the 'large' version.
CONDITION: Presented in remarkable condition. Enamel is clean and bright. No evidence of scratches, ships or stress marks. The metal to reverse has never been cleaned and has a patina consitent with age. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp.
