DESCRIPTION: Prewar Lemon fruit design with small Golly head. Manufactured by H.W.Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA i (REGd APPd number). Well defined stamp with all characters visible. For backstamp collectors, this is the earlier and more difficult to find backstamp (the later versions simply showing 'REGd' on reverse).

CONDITION: Presented in reasonably good condition. Enamel is generally bright and clean although please note the chip to the top leaf and a tiny area to the top of the lemon. The metal has a patina consistent with age. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp.

A good opportunity to add one of the more scarce backstamps on the prewar lemon for a very attractive price.

See photos for full details.
