DESCRIPTION: Prewar Fruit Bramble Golly badge in immaculate condition. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons sometime after 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
This is one of six Prewar Fruit designs from the prewar era. These designs are distinctive for their small golly head which appears on each one.
BACKSTAMP: Variation of Miller Type IA iii with the earlier REGD APPD 768826 markings. Clearly defined backstamp with all characters visible and legible. Note for the specialist collector: Two versions of this backstamp are known, this one being the 'small' version. This information is not yet in the Golly Checklist.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in superb condition. Both front and rear of the design are very nice indeed. The metal has a lovely appearance. Complete with original straight pin.
