DESCRIPTION: Prewar Fruit Bramble Golly badge in wonderful condition. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham and issued by Robertsons sometime after 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse.
This is one of six Prewar Fruit designs from the prewar era. These designs are distinctive for their small golly head which appears on each one.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA iii (REGd 768826). Well defined stamp with all characters visible. Note the 'REGD 768826' is stamped on two lines. Note for the specialist collector: Two versions of this backstamp are known, this one being the 'large' version.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in lovely condition. Front is clean and bright with no chips, cracks or other issues. Rear shows a slightly aged patina with a tiny area of tarnish to pin catch. Complete with original straight pin.
