DESCRIPTION: Prewar Blackcurrant fruit design with small Golly head as one of the berries. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse. One of the most desirable of the prewar fruits.
BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA i (REGd APPd number). Well defined stamp with all characters visible. For backstamp collectors, this is the earlier and more difficult to find backstamp (the later versions simply showing 'REGd' on reverse).
CONDITION: Presented in excellent condition. No scratches or stress marks. Trivial fleabite chip to upper right most berry. Metal shows a patina consistent with age and comes complete with original straight pin and clasp.
