DESCRIPTION: Prewar Blackcurrant fruit design with small Golly head as one of the berries. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse. One of the most desirable of the prewar fruits.

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA iii (REGD 768931). Clearly defined backstamp.

CONDITION: Presented in perfectly collectible but far from perfect condition. As seen in photos, one blackcurrant is missing enamel, the remaining 6 blackcurrants have scratches on them. The enamel to the green leaf is also significantly stressed. However, despite these obvious defects the original beauty of this timeless design is clear to see. On reverse the backstamp is very clear, the metal is clean and bright and the original pin is straight and in perfect working condition. A great opportunity to add a desirable prewar fruit to your collection for the fraction of the usual price (a badge with similar backstamp but in immaculate condition sold in the May-2022 Golly Auction for £570).

See photos for full details. Multiple high quality images shows the badge from different angles.
