DESCRIPTION: Prewar Blackcurrant fruit design with small Golly head as one of the berries. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse. One of the most desirable of the prewar fruits.

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA iii (REGd 768931). Lightly stamped. Note the 'REGD 768931' are on two lines. Note for the specialist collector: Two versions of this backstamp are known - large and small - this one being the 'large' version.

CONDITION: Presented in excellent condition. No chips, scratches or stress marks. Enamel is immaculate. The berries and leaves are lovely deep colours. Metal shows a clean patina. Complete with original straight pin and clasp. A really nice example.
