DESCRIPTION: Prewar Blackcurrant fruit design with small Golly head as one of the berries. Manufactured by Miller of Birmingham. Issued by Robertsons from 1932. Certified as genuine by the Miller backstamp to reverse. Not only is this most desirable of the prewar fruits but this is also the most scarce of the Miller backstamps. This is the only Golly badge design in existence that is known to carry the 'Miller Reverse Curve' backstamp (usually reserved for Miller Song Badges of the same era).

BACKSTAMP: Miller Type IA v (REGD 768931). Reverse curve stamp. Clearly defined backstamp.

CONDITION: Presented in close to perfect condition. The colours of the blackcurrants are a gorgeous deep purple with no signs of any scratches or stress marks. The green leaf is immaculate. The metal shows a clean patina. Complete with original straight pin in full working order. You will struggle to find a better example of this rare badge.
