DESCRIPTION: A rare opportunity to add a prewar Coronation Golly badge to your collection. Manufactured by the high quality badge maker H.W.Miller of Birmingham and prepared for the coronation of King George VI, which took place on 12th May 1937. This design carries the Miller Type 1Biii backstamp ('COPYRIGHT').

CONDITION: Presented for sale in excellent condition. No enamel loss, chips or scratches to the badge. The thin silver coating to waistcoat is fully present (this is often rubbed or completely missing), the thin varnish coating is also fully present, but started lifting slightly to right hand side of face. The legs show light stress marks to both legs, otherwise a very fine example of this classic and desirable badge. A wonderful example for your collection. Complete with original straight pin.
