DESCRIPTION: Golly figure made by Royal Doulton for Millennium Collectables in 1999. Beautiful item, in similar form to the large Shop display gollies [B19] which adorned grocers counters in the 1950/60's. Listed as I.23 in the Golly Guide. As this was distributed through Millennium Collectables it's appeal stretched beyond the Golly collecting community and has become a rather sought after item. Produced in a limited edition of 2000 figures, this is number 1087.
