DESCRIPTION: A lovely example of the HAPPY STANDARD. Make no mistake, this is a rare and desirable badge. Although it is in the traditional white waistcoat colours it is suspected to have been issued before WWII. With a large red bow tie and distinctive happy appearance this is a rarity missing from most collections. White Waistcoat Standard badge with a dark blue jacket. Black hands and feet.
BACKSTAMP: No backstamp as issued. This badge has been verified as genuine by the Golly Checklist team.
CONDITION: Presented in very good condition. The enamel is very clean and free from chips or enamel loss. There is a light surface scuff above Golly's right eye (left as viewed), otherwise an immaculate example. The metal to reverse is clean and bright. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp. A lovely example of this rare item and a great opportunity to add a very rare item to your collection.
