DESCRIPTION: A lovely example of the HAPPY STANDARD. Make no mistake, this is a rare and desirable badge. Although it is in the traditional white waistcoat colours it is suspected to have been issued before WWII. With a large red bow tie and distinctive happy appearance this is a rarity missing from most collections. White Waistcoat Standard badge with a dark blue jacket. Black hands and feet.
BACKSTAMP: No backstamp as issued. This badge has been verified as genuine by the Golly Checklist team.
CONDITION: Presented in good condition. The enamel is very clean and free from scratches but please note Golly's left arm and lapel is suffering from underfill to the blue enamel and there is a stress mark on Golly's left leg. The metal to reverse has a light patina consistent with its age. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp. Although this is not in mint condition it is a lovely example of this rare item and a great opportunity to add a very rare item to your colelction for a fraction of the full price.
