DESCRIPTION: A wonderful example of the HAPPY STANDARD. Make no mistake, this is a rare and desirable badge. Although it is in the traditional white waistcoat colours it is suspected to have been issued before WWII. With a large red bow tie and distinctive happy appearance this is a rarity missing from most collections. White Waistcoat Standard badge with a dark blue jacket. Black hands and feet.
BACKSTAMP: No backstamp as issued. This badge has been verified as genuine by the Golly Checklist team.
CONDITION: Presented in superb condition. Free from any stress marks, chips or cracks to the enamel. All enamel present and correct. The metal to reverse has a light patina consistent with its ageclean and bright. Complete with original straight pin and working clasp. A fine example of this rare item.
