DESCRIPTION: Golly scout trophy. With enamelled Miller Golly Scout in chrome, mounted on trophy. This was a special item for the Scout movement although few other details are available it is known that the Robertsons linked up with the Scouts as part of their 50 golden years promotion. In Feb-1980 60,000 leaflets promoting the scheme to collect equipment for Scouts were distributed and on 15^th May 1980 a 1925 Vintage open decker and open stairway “Dennis” London bus toured the capital’s children’s hospitals distributing presents. CONDITION: In excellent unmarked, untarnished and unused condition, unlikely to find better than this!
