DESCRIPTION: Metal chromed lid with white waistcoat Standard attached to the top. Produced in the immediate post war period. Badge produced by the quality Birmingham badge maker 'H.W.Miller'. This is another very special lid that is often overlooked by golly collectors in favour of the badge items. Its worth noting that the badge attached to this jar lid was especially produced with a staple type fixing to the rear to enable it to be attached to the jar lid. Makes an excellent display item to add a little diversity to a collection of Golly ephemera.
CONDITION: In very good condition. This badge is in close to mint condition with no stress marks or scratches at all. The lid has a couple of trivial dents and blemishes but displays very well. A really lovely example. This lid seems to be less common that the prewar golfer lid.
