DESCRIPTION: Metal chromed lid with pre-war Golfer with bar attached to the top. Produced in the Pre-WWII period. Badge produced by the quality Birmingham badge maker 'H.W.Miller'. This is a very special item that is often overlooked by golly collectors in favour of the badge items. Its worth noting that the badge attached to this jar lid was especially produced with a staple type fixing to the rear to enable it to be attached to the jar lid. Makes an excellent display item to add a little diversity to a collection of Golly ephemera.
CONDITION: In very good condition. The badge is close to mint with no stress marks or scratches at all. The lid is very shiny and in excellent condition. A slight rubbing can be seen above Golly's head and light surface scratches as is common with this item. Overall a really lovely example.
