DESCRIPTION: One of the earliest Golly badges ever issued. This design is known to pre-date the enamelled badges made by Miller in the Pre-WWII period. Stamped out of tin with arms down to side, it would originally have been attached to a horizontal pin... long since gone. Example of these items are getting harder to find... in fact this is the first such example we had listed in 5 years of running the auctions.
BACKSTAMP: None, but certified as genuine by the Golly Checklist team.
CONDITION: Presented for sale in perfectly collectable condition. As seen on the photos there is are scuffs to the paintwork although it is all original paint (which is always preferable to a repainted design) but the original hair and pin are no longer attached giving the appearance of a leather hat. This presents a great opportunity to add this rare item to your collection.
