DESCRIPTION: A genuine Unenamelled Lifeboatman badge from 1988. The original enamelled version was issued by Robertsons to raise money for the RNLI. However a very small number of unenamelled examples escaped onto the open market and make for an interesting addition to a collection. The enamelled version of this badge was a special issue item made by Fattorini. As it was never formally issued out without enamel it does not come with a box or certificate.
BACKSTAMP: Fattorini backstamp type 7.
CONDITION: Presented in perfect condition. The metal is very clean and unblemished. On revese the pin and clasp is fully working. A very clean example.
