DESCRIPTION: A genuine Lifeboatman badge from the 1988. Issued by Robertsons to raise money for the RNLI. Complete with original box and certificate with issue number of 2624. This badge was a special issue enamel item made by Fattorini.
BACKSTAMP: Fattorini backstamp type 7. Two sizes of the backstamp on this design have been discovered. The 6th image shows both backstamps side by side for reference.
CONDITION: Presented in excellent condition. The acrylic to front is bright and clean, the metal is unblemished. On reverse the pin and clasp is fully working. A very clean example.
