DESCRIPTION: A genuine Lifeboatman badge from the 1988. Issued by Robertsons to raise money for the RNLI. Complete with original box and certificate with relatively high issue number of 19,945. This badge was a special issue enamel item made by Fattorini.
BACKSTAMP: Fattorini backstamp type 7. Two sizes of the backstamp on this design have been discovered. This badge has the SMALL sized backstamp at 6mm x 2mm.
CONDITION: Presented in excellent condition. The acrylic to front is bright and clean, the metal is unblemished. On revese the pin and clasp is fully working. A very clean example.
